About Rafael

After finishing graduate school, I entered the business world in the financial sector where I have worked for Fortune 500 Companies and have run my own successful businesses. I am currently owner & CEO of American Freedom Benefits, a retirement planning company. Where I and my Financial Consultants advise individuals and families on their financial needs and focus on the best interest of our clients.

In 2017 my lovely wife, Jennifer, and I moved to Missouri and in 2018 we choose Pacific in Franklin County to be our ideal location to live and have our forever home. We feel we could not have made a better choice anywhere in the country. You will often see us out at community and philanthropic events as well as supporting local businesses.

My goal as State Representative for District 119 is to serve the people of Franklin County and Missouri citizens by helping to improve the quality of life and opportunities to achieve the American Dream.

Business success provided me with the opportunity to be philanthropic and utilize my talents to assist communities:

  • President of St. Cornelius Parish Council where we raised $1 Million in funds.
  • President of Contra Costa College Foundation. We set-up a trust to provide 300 scholarships perpetually by utilizing sound investment strategies.
  • President for 5 years of a local Business Association which provided scholarships, toys for low income children during the holidays, increased tax revenue by attracting additional businesses to the region, organizing large community festivals at no expense to the citizens.
  • Vice-Chair of Workforce Investment Board: Helped to create skilled labor training and job opportunities. In turn, crime decreased as individuals entered the workforce as skilled tradesmen and women.
  • Political Consultant for the Richmond Police Officer Association: Brought positive awareness to the great work police officers do. Successfully attained a fair contract for police officers.
  • Recognized by Hiring Our Heroes and other veterans organizations for placing a high value on recruiting & employing veterans. Furthermore, assisted veterans with benefits they are entitled to.
  • Current Alderman for the City of Pacific: Helped to create 7 million in city infrastructure without raising taxes. Served on point to attain a 10% raise for police and city employees. Helping to guarantee clean drinking water and safer streets, all while remaining fiscally responsible.

I am proud to have the exclusive endorsement of the Franklin County Republican Central Committee.
